Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mr. Nawaf Bin Said Al Malki calls on PM’s Special Assistant on Climate Change, Malik Amin Aslam at the Ministry of Climate Change

Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Climate Change and Chairman Social Welfare Committee Attock Malik Amin Aslam has said that the issue of pending scholarships of the 180 students of Comsats University will be resolved on priority and the pending amount of Rs 53.749 million will be arranged from welfare funds as per the policy . He was chairing a meeting which was attended by PTI Leader Malik Khurram Ali Khan , DC Attock Imran Hamid Sheikh , ADCR Marzia Saleem , AC Jand Ejaz Abdul Karim , DD Development Zameer Ahmad and officers of oil and gas companies working in Attock district were present. Malik Amin Aslam said that welfare funds allocated by the oil and gas companies were being spent on different welfare schemes for the development of the area and prosperity of the masses.

He emphasised upon the officers to ensure timely completion of the development schemes with out compromising on good quality of the work. During the meeting the issue of better health facilities for Makhad , Dakhner , Injra and adjoining areas was also discussed and all the participants were agreed that a state of the art health facility was needed in the aforesaid areas. The Chairman expressed his annoyance over the reps of oil and gas companies for not bringing five years audit report of the welfare funds . Malik Amin directed them to ensure provision of audit report so that the transparency of welfare funds could be ensured . It is worth mentioning that in an earlier meeting all the oil and gas companies were asked to bring five years audit report of the welfare funds but no action was taken by the oil and gas companies ..
