Pakistan and Bahrain have agreed to expand bilateral cooperation in health Sector.

This was concluded in a meeting between Minister of State for National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination Saira Afzal Tarar and her Bahraini counterpart in Manama on Wednesday.

Both the countries agreed to exploit the enormous potential for enhancing cooperation in specialized healthcare, knowledge sharing, postgraduate trainings, pharmaceuticals and surgical goods exports.

Saira Afzal Tarar also held meetings with other Bahraini dignitaries to discuss the details of proposed construction of King Hamad University of Nursing and Associated Medical Sciences in Islamabad.
