The U.S. Continues to be the worst-hit country with 909,116 cases and nearly 51,342 fatalities.

Italy has the second-highest death toll at 25,969, while Spain has the second highest number of cases at 219,764.

France has the death toll of 22,245 and in United Kingdom 19,506 people died due to virus.

The virus has spread to at least 212 countries and regions since emerging in Wuhan, China in December.

Despite the rising number of cases, most people who contract the virus suffer mild symptoms before making a recovery.
