Students of Punjab Danish School Jand and a private school bagged first position as both the students  got 485 marks each while second and third position was also  bagged by the students of private schools in middle standard exam held under Punjab Exam Commission in February this year. 24471 students (male and female) appeared in the exam from across the district.

As per the result announced by PEC(Punjab Exam Commission) Burhan Ullah Roll No 61-209-167 from PDS(Punjab Danish School) Jand and Khadija Manahil Roll No.61-156-277 of F.J.Grammar High School Fatehjang obtained 485 marks each and both bagged first position while Eman Afroz Roll No.61-156-228 of F.J. Grammar High School Fateh Jang secured second position by obtaining 484 marks and Laiba Zia Roll No. 61-220-148 of Iqra Model Girls High School Kot Chhaji secured third position by obtaining 483 marks .

Among male students all the first three positions were bagged by PDS Jand which include Burhan Ullah , Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Asad who obtained 485 , 479 and 474 marks respectively . Among the female students Khadija Manahil and Eman Afroz from F.J.Grammar High School Fateh Jang bagged First and second positions by obtaining 485 and 484 marks respectively while third position went to Laiba Zia of Iqra Model Girls School Kot Chhaji who got 483 marks . It is astonishing that no student from govt schools could bag any of the top positions . It is worth mentioning that in this exam 18941 students from govt schools , 4140 students from private schools and 1390 students appeared  in private capacity .
