Pakistan Attock city police while initiating action against fake spiritual healers booked two and registered cases against them . As per PRO Taimoor Khan Details , following the directions of District Police Officer (DPO) Attock Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bkuhari Jand police taking action against fake spiritual healers have arrested two accused who in the guess of spiritual healers were cheating people in the name of religion , spiritualism and faith and extorting money from them . The operation was conducted under the supervision of Deputy Superintendent Police (DSP) Mohammad Aslam Dogar, Station House Officer (SHO) Jand Nisar Ahmed and others at village Nara from where Saeed Akhtar s/o Muhammad Afzal who was busy in giving fake charms to some of his disciples was arrested .

Police recovered a few charms , a cell phone and Rs 3000 from his pocket Fake spiritual healer told police that he was having neither a religious scholar nor having any knowledhe about the religion and confessed that he was engaged in this fake practice as people believe him and he has a large number of followers. In another attempt police arrested an accused in the guess of spiritual healer from mohala Alaabad Jand namely Mumtaz Khan alias Bhutto pir who was also busy in giving charms to people at his residence when police arrested him. On seeing police , some of his followers escaped , Bhutto pir also tried to escape but police over powered him and recovered 48 charms , a cell phone and Rs 350 . Both have been booked under the act 420 , 500 and 508 and sent behind the bars. People have lauded police action against such spiritual healers and demanded that operation against these faith healers must be kept continue as these spiritual healers are common in most of the areas.
