A Pakistani delegation headed by Finance Minister Asad Umar has held meetings with the officials of World Bank and International Monetary Fund in Washington.

During the meetings, they discussed various economic and development projects with the World Bank President, as well as with the Executive Director and Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund.

The Finance Minister also met the World Bank’s Vice President for South Asia Region and exchanged views on Pakistan’s economic situation.

Asad Umar also chaired a meeting with the members of the US-Pakistan Council to explore investment opportunities and prospects in Pakistan.
