In Occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred three more Kashmiri youth in Binner area of Baramulla district, today. These killings raised the number of the martyred youth in the territory to nine since Monday.

Tens of thousands of people in Pulwama and Shopian districts, today, attended the funeral prayers of six youth martyred by Indian troops during the last two days.

Braving severe cold, thousands of people thronged Nazneenpora, Draggad and Shirmal areas of Shopian to participate in the last rites of the youth martyred in Heff Shirmal area of Shopian, yesterday.

Eyewitnesses said that thirty rounds of funeral prayers were held to accommodate huge rush of mourners. The slain youth were laid to rest at their ancestral graveyards amid high-pitched pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.

Meanwhile, complete shutdown was observed in Shopian and Pulwama districts, today, against the killing of youth.

The occupation authorities deployed Indian police and paramilitary personnel in strength in Pulwama town to prevent people from staging demonstrations against the killings. Indian army personnel used brute force against peaceful protesters in Chillipora area of Shopian.
