Two miners were rescued from a coal mine in China’s Eastern Shangdong Province, but 18 were still trapped inside following an Accident at the weekend.

A rock burst destroyed part of a water drainage tunnel in the Coal Mine, killing two and trapping 20 workers, according to CCTV hundreds of rescuers were dispatched to the Mine site after the accident.

The Mine is owned by Shandong Energy Group Co Ltd and located in the Province’s Yuncheng County. The cause of the accident was still under investigation.
