A Volcano erupted on Sulawesi on Today, days after an Earthquake and Tsunami on the Indonesian Island killed more than 1,400 people.

Mount Soputan, which is about 600 Kilometres Northwest of Palu, spewed Volcanic ash more than four kilometres into the sky.

There were no reports of any casualties or damage. The eruption was also not expected to disrupt flights.

However, Authorities told residents within a four kilometre radius of the Volcano to standby for Evacuation orders while nearby Communities have also been told to be prepared for volcanic ash fall.
