State Minister for Interior Shehryar Khan Afridi has said that LEAs (Law Enforcement Agencies) are playing vital role in maintaining law and order and peace on the country however in the name of security no one must be humiliated or disgraced.He said this while talking to Police officers of Attock police at Mankoor Check Post near Khushalgarh on the border of Attock and Kohat districts.
The Minister said that all LEAs are extremely respectable, honorable for all of us as giving sacrifices for maintaining peace. He said , at this check post people belonging to Kohat , Karak , Parachinar, Hangoo, Karak and Dara Adam Khel enter into Punjab province and police while checking these people must keep in mind their respect and cultural values and no one must be humiliated . He said, believe in the policy of do respect and have respect. Shehryar said, try to remove resentment which is prevailing among the people against Police and respect every citizen specially women and elderly people keeping in view their cultural values. State Minister said , people belonging to KP, Punjab, Baluchistan and Sind are all Pakistanis and United.
He emphasised upon the police to give a positive and friendly message to every one crossing g this check post. He said that he would pay surprise visits to all the check posts , will appreciate those performing their duties with dedication and professionalism and will take strict action against those violating rules. He said that his visit to different check posts was under the 100 days program of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the purpose was to bring improvement in the system and redress the grievances of the people and said this this govt believed in practical steps and never believed in hollow slogans and lip service.
The Minister directed DPO Attock Hasan Asad Alvi to ensure maximum facilities to the people passing through these check posts and ensure redress all of their grievances
