The Supreme Court of Pakistan has suspended Lahore High Court’s decision which nullified nomination forms. Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar heard the petitions filed by speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and the Election Commission of Pakistan, which challenged High Court’s ruling on nomination forms in the Lahore Registry of the Supreme Court.

The Chief Justice in his remarks said Elections will be held on 25th of July at all costs.
Chief Justice warned that Election Commission will be held responsible for any delay in Election. Lahore High Court had scrapped the new nomination papers for Election Candidates.

The decision of Lahore High Court regarding nomination papers was challenged in the Supreme Court Today by Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq and Election Commission of Pakistan.
