Anti Terrorism Court Rawalpindi has acquitted 5 suspects in Benazir Bhutto murder case and sentenced 2 senior police officers for criminal negligence.

Announcing the verdict in Adiala Jail, Judge Mohammad Asghar Khan declared the Former President Pervez Musharraf Fugitive and order confiscation of all his movable and immovable property.

The two senior police officers including Former DIG Saud Aziz and Former SP Rawal town Khurram Shehzad have been sentenced to 17 years imprisonment each and fine of half million rupees on charges of security lapse and wiping of evidence.

Both officers were taken into custody from the courtroom.

The five accused acquitted include Aitzaz Shah, Sher Zaman, Hasnain Gul, Rafaqat Hussain and Qari Abdul Rasheed.
