Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said terrorists are Common Enemies of Pakistan and Afghanistan and a trust-based coordinated response is required against them rather than blame game.

Talking to a nine-member Afghan media delegation in Rawalpindi, he said Afghanistan is Pakistan’s brotherly neighbour and media can play a vital role in mitigating the negativity created by inimical forces.

The Army Chief reiterated that Pakistan has undertaken operations against terrorists of all hue and colour and there are no safe havens inside Pakistan, which are being used against Afghanistan.

Emphasizing the need for an effective border management along Pak-Afghan border, he said Pakistan has taken measures on its side of the border, including fencing and establishment of new border forts and posts.
