Chief of Malaysian Army General Dato’ Sri Zulkiple bin Haji Kassim called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters Rawalpindi.

According to ISPR, the two chiefs exchanged views on issues of mutual interest including Defence, training and security cooperation between both countries and overall regional security situation.

The foreign delegation was briefed on operational and training activities of Pakistan Army.

During the meeting, General Dato’ Sri Zulkiple bin Haji Kassim appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for elimination of terrorism.

On arrival at GHQ, Chief of Malaysian Army laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.

A contingent of the Pakistan army presented the Guard of Honour to the visiting dignitary.

The Malaysian Army Chief Dato sri Zulkifeli also visited Naval Headquarters in Islamabad.

He called on Naval Chief Admiral Zakaullah.

They discussed issues of mutual interests and professional affairs.

The Malaysian Army Chief also met Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal Sohail Amman.

Matters of professional interest were discussed in the meeting.

He also lauded role of Pakistan Air Force in operation Zarb e Azb in fight against terrorism.
