Pakistan Squash Federation honorary Secretary group Captain Tahir Sultan confirmed that PSF is organizing two back-to-back squash series against world and Egyptian players from 12th to 16th of this month at Mushaf Squash complex.

Tahir informed this while addressing a press conference at Serna hotels.

Tahir informed the media that on the special directives of Pakistan Squash Federation President Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, we fought Nasir Iqbal case to the best of our abilities and we will not sit back and ensure maximum help we can provide to the youngster,

Nasir is an asset to Pakistan squash and we never take his case lightly, despite restrictions from WSF and Wada, as federations can’t be involved and player had to fight his case, we trusted our player and fully backed him and he get 1-year suspension just because of federations hectic efforts and played few PSA events this year, but after he loses appeal in international court, he was given 4-year ban.

He further said, we form the day 1 had made up in our minds that we will put in our best efforts and to bring golden squash days back, we are working with commitment and provided best facilities to the players, appoint top class coaches, legends are onboard, they are working day and night to ensure international squash returns to Pakistan.

We had highly successfully conducted 7 international tournaments in Pakistan last two years.

He further said, in the meantime on the directives of PSF President we planned two major exhibition series against world-five and Egyptian-five, world number 2 Egyptian Karim Abdel Gawad and other top ranked players from Egypt will be in acting in Egypt-five versus Pakistan-five, while likes of Leo Au, Karaim Al-Fathi, Todd Harrity and Nathan Lake will play from world-five.
