The PCB Anti-Corruption unit has punished Cricketer Mohammad Nawaz by suspending him for one month along with Rs two Lakh fine for not sharing bookie meeting with the board.

A press release issued in this regard said Mohammad Nawaz, was charged with a single violation of article 2.4.4 of the code wherein he had failed to disclose to the PCB vigilance and security department full details of the approaches and invitations received by him to engage in corrupt conduct.

Nawaz approached the board for proceedings under article 5.1.12 of the PCB code and requested for “agreed sanction”, subsequently admitting the charges leveled against him.
