Protesters in New York City and Chicago were up in arms over a U.S. Missile launch on a Syrian Airbase in Rebel-held Idlib Province.

The U.S. Military launched dozens of Tomahawk Missiles from the USS porter and USS Ross warships in the Mediterranean Sea that hit the Airstrip,

The Syrian Army said the Missile attack killed six people and caused extensive damage.

Protesters in Chicago marched through downtown in similar protester holding signs reading resist and chanted “hands off Syria.”

The American strikes were in reaction to what Washington says was a poison gas attack by the Syrian government this week that killed over 70 people in rebel-held territory.
