The Torkham and Chaman crossing points on Afghan border are open for the second day today to facilitate the movement of people, stranded on both sides.

Both the crossing points remained opened where some 2900 Afghan nationals went back to Afghanistan and some 500 Afghan nationals crossed into Pakistan holding valid visa cards on this occasion.

The border crossings will also remain open today to provide an opportunity to those afghan nationals who had come to Pakistan on valid visas and wish to return to their country.

The visa-holders Pakistani nationals stranded in Afghanistan will also avail the opportunity to return home.

Vehicles are not allowed to cross the border.
