Thousands of villagers gathered in a dusty field in Pind Sulthani near Attock watching men balancing precariously on a Wooden Sled race a pair of bulls. Village elders decide when to hold the event, which attracts thousands, usually men and children, from the surrounding areas.
The Centuries-Old tradition is held in winter after the crops have been cut so that people can gather in the open space. Spectators watch as Bull Racers hired by the Bull owners try and stay on the sled while the bovines, tied together by heavy wooden frames, hurtle towards the finish line. The one who manages to do so in the fastest time is declared the winner.
