The Council on American-Islamic-Relations has filed a Federal Lawsuit against U.S. President Donald Trump’s executive order banning immigration from seven muslim-majority countries, claiming that it is unconstitutional.

The council announced at a press conference in Washington D.C., that it has filed a lawsuit at a Federal Court on behalf of more than 20 plaintiffs over the New President’s travel ban on preventing citizens from Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Somalia, Syria, Libya and Yemen from entering the U.S.

The country’s largest muslim and civil liberties and advocacy organization, expressed its concern over the ban, which it claims violates the U.S. Constitution.
