Russia says a US plan for safe zones in Syria should be thoroughly considered. Russian President Vladimir Putin’s spokesman told newsmen in Moscow that it is important to weigh all possible consequences of the measure.

On the other hand, Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman Huseyin Muftuoglu said in Ankara that his country is waiting to see the outcome of US President donald Trump’s pledge to order safe zones in Syria.

Meanwhile, Foreign Ministry spokesman Huseyin Muftuoglu says details of a three-way mechanism to enforce cease-fire in Syria are being worked out after talks between the warring parties. He also reiterated Ankara’s position on Bashar Al Assad, saying a person who is responsible for the deaths of 600,000 civilians has no place in Syria’s future.
