Election Commission of Pakistan has issued contempt notice to PTI Chairman Imran Khan and sought his reply on 21st of next month.
The contempt application was filed by Akbar S. Babar in the PTI funds embezzlement case.
He took the plea that Imran Khan neither submitted his reply in the case neither his counsel appeared before the commission.
A five-member bench headed by Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Muhammad Raza heard the case.
Talking outside the Election Commission PML-N leader Danyal Aziz said Imran Khan is busy in political point scoring by leveling baseless allegations against the ruling party.
He said the PTI Chief has to face the election commission in the party funds embezzlement case.
