Pakistan Army is to return Indian soldier Chandhu Babulal to Indian authorities at Wahga Border as a goodwill gesture. The Sepoy stationed in Occupied Kashmir, deserted his post at LOC due to his grievances of maltreatment against his commanders. .
The Indian soldier willfully crossed loc on 29 September and surrendered himself to Pakistan Army. In a statement, the ISPR said, as a gesture of goodwill and in continuation of Pakistan’s efforts to maintain peace and tranquility along the LOC, Sepoy Chandhu Babulal has been convinced to return to his own country.
