Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to continue close cooperation with International Community in its endeavors for elimination of terrorism.

Commenting on media reports about failure of Indian move in UN Security Council’s 1267 Sanctions Committee, Foreign Office Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said Committee related to ISIS and Al-Qaeda has rejected a politically motivated proposal by India.

The Foreign Office statement also highlighted Pakistan’s significant contribution and rendered enormous sacrifices in war against terrorism.

Terming it frivolous and baseless, Foreign Office Spokesperson said Indian proposal had no merit and was aimed at advancing its narrow National Agenda.

Pointing out India’s use of terrorism as instrument of state policy, Zakariya said India is involved in perpetrating, sponsoring, supporting, and financing terrorism.

In this regard he said more evidence of Indian involvement in terrorism inside pakIstan will be shared with the United Nations and International Community.

Nafees Zakaria said it is clear that India’s unfounded allegations against Pakistan are aimed at masking its terrorist activities.
