Russian President Vladimir Putin has declined to engage in a Tit-for-Tat after the US expelled 35 Russian Diplomats over the hacking scandal.

He said Russia would not “Stoop” to the level of “Irresponsible Diplomacy” but would work to restore ties with America under President-elect Donald Trump.

Earlier the Russian Foreign Ministry has called for the expulsion of 35 US diplomats in response to a similar move by Washington.

The Obama Administration expelled 35 Russia diplomats and their families over alleged Russian hacking during the US election campaign.

However Russia has denied any involvement and calls the US action “Ungrounded”.

Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Russia is also seeking to ban US diplomats from using a holiday home and warehouse in Moscow after Obama ordered the closure two Russian compounds in New York and Maryland.
