Pakistan defeated Australia eleven by 201 runs in a 3-day practice match in cairns. Earlier Pakistan declared their second innings at 216 for six giving target of 311 runs to Australia eleven on third and final day of day-night practice match in cairns Azhar Ali scored not out highest 82 runs while Muhammad Nawaz was unbeaten at 36. Mark Steketee and Ryan Lees grabbed two wickets each for the kangaroos. Chasing the target the Australian managed to score only 109 runs in their second innings. For Pakistan Mohammad Nawaz bagged three wickets while Mohammad Amir and Rahat Ali took two wickets each. The first test between Pakistan and Australia will be played in Brisbane on the 15th of this month.
