Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said Indian aggressive posturing is aimed at diverting world attention from its atrocities in Occupied Kashmir. He expressed these views during a visit to 10 corps headquarters and troops on forward locations at the line of control. For lasting peace in the region, General Qamar Bajwa stressed need for resolving Kashmir dispute in line with U.N. Resolutions and aspirations of Kashmiris. On Indian escalation at LOC, Army Chief said each violation of any kind must be responded with full force in the most effective manner. Appreciating troops for their operational readiness and befitting response given to unprovoked Indian firing , COAS ordered to keep highest level of vigil at all times. During the visit, General Qamar Bajwa was accompanied by 10 corps commander lieutenant general Malik Zafar Iqbal.
