ISLAMABAD:  National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry Monday said that they must end corruption to flourish socially and economical developed Pakistan.
Addressing the gathering at seminar on “role of youth in eradication of corruption” at Qauid-i-Azam University (QAU) NAB chairman said that sixty percent of Pakistan’s youth could play vital role in ending the menace of corruption from the country.
He urged young generation to play an active role to fight against corruption and anti-state elements.
“It is due to corruption that young generation faces social injustices and unemployment”, said the NAB chairman.
He said it was not a national issue, but a transnational issue and good governance is not possible in the presence of corrupt elements.
NAB chairman said that we must have to raise voice and create awareness against corruption, not just anti-corruption institution, but whole nation has to play its role to curb this menace.
Qamar Zaman Chaudhry congratulated Vice Chancellor of QAU to keep the university at the top of universities list of Pakistan for last five years.
