In Syria, government forces have captured the strategic hilltop of Bazo in Aleppo city in latest fighting.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Bazo was taken amid heavy bombardment by the government troops.

Meanwhile, airstrikes in the northwestern province of Idlib have killed at least 13 people.

The people were killed in the towns of Kfar Takharim and Khan Sheikhoun, where a market was hit.
